Neo-Rococo 2010

These two brooches were created for the Neo-Rococo show curated by Carolyn Springer and exhibited at the University of Indianapolis. The theme of the show was "The reinterpretation of rocks and shells in contemporary jewelry." This is the first of my work to incorporate minerals of any sort. The iron pyrite (fools gold) becomes the payload of my stylized vehicle graphics.
